  • @MobaTalk lollllz

  • @luke19631963 agree...thanks

  • I just can't imagine gold or any precious metal, being worthless like so many paper fiat currencies around the world are or are becoming. The simple fact is gold, silver, ect have intrinsic value for one. They can be made into jewlery, used in electonics, ect. and have always, throughout history, been valued as a viable form of payment for debt. Paper (fiat) money, when it collapses, can only be used to wipe your butt if the bills are large enough.

  • That is probably the best way to invest in gold right now in my opinion. rather than buy gold on the market of which one would never actually see and hold.. make your own pile of actual gold...much wiser to do that I'd say.

  • Yes, it only has value because we think it does. I agree with you that gold can be manipuated and devalued leaving people who put all their faith in it... ruined. What I do is trust my own judgement/knowledge/intuition... and I have a bit of physical gold and a bit of silver and stay out of debt.... and cross my fingers:) In the end, who knows... peace.

  • Well I wasn't trying to "win" I just worry about poeple's values. They buy gold in good faith yet our faith has been shot down many many times

I'd sure buy gold before any currency. the only thing that could shatter the gold value is a catastrophe of large proportions so it is a pretty safe bet. Yet it is funny how gold really pragmatically, serves no function.

  • all fiat currencies eventually go to zero

  • steve is a tool
