The map presented is actually flipped- the bottom is north and the top is south. The island chain that was Atlantis is now under the sea.

you are wrong. Athanasius map is the map of the known world with geological characterics. Continent on right side is Asia in time when the sea cover most part of russia and europe and Asia was separeted from Africa. On left side of map you can see south Africa and big tectonic plate in mexican gulf. This is map of world before milions ears ago. Funny but truth.
