  • While Toyota is wrong , and set themselves up for this, The USA government (Obonehead) is making it much much worse. It will be blown up out of all proportion.

  • it's like a guy who had keep eating macdonalds for ages is suing macdonalds for overweighting.

    that's just utter nonesense.

people should understand what they are doing and the driving test supposed to help people in that way.

drivers don't have time to call during driving.

drivers can disengage or neutral the engine.

  • TOYota is a cheap CHINK company makin crappy cars, this is proof. im hatin that u need survival trainin when u buy a car.

  • Toyota haters will love to talk about it at this time. lolz

  • Toyota should close all factories in US and make all cars in Japan in order to make the quality better...

  • Toyota - "Moving Forward" - Even when you let your foot off the gas pedal..

Toyota - "Moving Forward" - Even when you stomp on the brakes..

Toyota - "Moving Forward" - Even when you shift into neutral & pull the E-brake.

Toyota - "Moving Forward" - Until it slams into the back of a semi-truck @ 110 mph

  • i heard toyota equipped their paper shredders with the "sticky pedals" so they could run wide open on their own. a recent memo shows they saved millions over paying a person to do it.

  • so because people are killed every day it should be OK for me to shoot one or two? i mean its only one or two while thousands are killed elsewhere.

  • cont. youre correct that "sticky pedals" havent been proven to cause any deaths. unintended acceleration however has been proven to cause deaths. in the case of the trooper investigators couldnt come to a conclusion as to what caused the UA so it was inferred(not proven)the floor mats caused it. funny thing is he was driving a lexus as was the older gentleman whose wife was killed after their car accelerated off a cliff, and yet no lexus has been recalled.

  • "Kinda farcical for a government who owns 62% of Toyota's largest rival (GM) to be conducting this investigation..."-sounds like fair play to me, the japanese government(who subsidize toyota)disallow american cars in japan period. if an american car does manage to get on shore in japan its subject to taxes that almost double its MSRP while here in america a tundra is actually cheaper than an F150.

  • @timtilberg-EXACTLY. toyota has yet to see as much bad press as ford did over the exploders, but ill bet not one of these idiots defended ford(and they shouldnt have). what is with americans? they are all for throwing a domestic manufacturer in the frying pan, but believe a foriegn company(who lied and tried to hide the problem in order to save money)deserves a pass. i dont understand, is toyota playing subliminal messages through your car audio?

  • toyota has a record of fixing problems behind the customers backs when the cars come in for other work-this is why toyota has for years had less recalls than other manufacturers-this time they got caught. did you defend ford when the exploders were killing people-they got ALOT more negative press than toyota is despite the fact that ford never attempted to cover anything up. im interested in knowing why you think toyota should be given a pass.
