  • "David Gilmour can do more with one note than most guitar players can do with the whole fretboard." - Dave Mustaine

  • A lot of british artists are multi-lingual - they are pretty much required to be in their education. Peter Gabriel is able to convesre with about half of the main european continent in their native tongues - which is no easy feat...

  • @cameltooth1 mustaine?? HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA AH HA HA AH HHMMMM GHH MHHH THAT JUNKIE FUCK

  • According to Wikipedia, Gilmour attended The Perse School on Hills Road, Cambridge, (with Syd Barrett). He studied modern languages to A-Level (Advanced Level General Certificate of Education).

  • o.O he speaks french! god!

  • Oh man! He speaks French!!!

  • Can people please stop taking the piss out of Mustaine, he's a god, arguably the most creative thrash metal musician, along with Hetfield and Cliff Burton. He's achieved more than any of the people taking the piss will achieve in their lives. He's an extremely talented person, yeah, his singing isn't to everybodys taste but neither is anyones. Anyway, this is a David Gilmour interview and it's absolutely fucking ridiculous that even here I have to hear the Dave - Kirk Argument. NOBODY CARES!

  • @cameltooth1 That's hilarious bro! Hey Cameltooth, Dave Mustaine is also the king of constipated weasel singing. Good retort btw martini. Long live the Gilmour. And he's bilingual.

  • @cameltooth1 Cool story bro.

  • @cameltooth1 Still, Kirk's better xD

    Just kidding...

  • @4rescue MY #1.) Mike Bloomfield because of all around. 2.) Mick Taylor because of his slide playing. 3.) young Clapton because of his phrasing. Then Beck, Page, Hendrix in the same spot because of their knowledge and sounds at times.

  • Dave Mustaine can do more with his fast scales and classical ideas thrown in, than Gilmour ever imagined. John McLaughlin is a monster, but you can't hear his soul. I can feel it though. Gilmour is awesome, but he doesn't play much without the effects to aid him. That's his sound you'll say. Yes it is and Dave Mustaine can rip on an acoustic and play pretty too. Mustaine has more variety in all honesty.
