Cool, I remember these extra edits. I wish they'd release full versions of the tv cuts. Though I think they were only made for tv so the salkinds could charge more money to networks.

That had to be the one remotely funny scene in the entire movie, (with all due respect to Richard Pryer). Dick Lester tried to throw in as many gags as he possible could in this movie, and very few of them were even funny.

I loved the scene when Richard Pryor was trying to determine the chemical composition of Kryptonite and in place of the 2 percent unknown he put in 2 percent tar, and it was close enough that it had an adverse effect on Superman.
