  • Uh,you're wrong Rlotpir1972. WB got the rights to the DC comics heroes in 1969.

  • @ShaDeed329 Warner Bros. got the rights to all DC comic book heroes in the 1970's. This was a re-issue when it was returned to TV in the 1990's.

  • Along with his saying"Don't Miss The next thrill packed episode in the amazing adventures of Superman"..Mr.Lyons would also say"Brought to you by Kellogg's The Greatest Name In Cereals!".Sadly this line was cut from all future syndicated reissue prints of the show.

  • Charlie Lyon was the show's announcer [also for its original sponsor, Kellogg's]. Yes, the last four seasons (1954-'58) were filmed in color- 52 episodes- yet seen in black and white until early 1966, when the color negatives were finally processed, as the distributor realized that more kids were watching color TV sets to justify the cost of sending color prints to local stations...

  • The last two seasons of The Adventures of Superman were filmed in color.

  • I wonder if this was colourized or was it originally shot in colour...
