My name is Federico Arango and I created this video to show the FCAT (Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test) as a game show. This was done to take students fear out of the FCAT, encourage them to do well and to just overall reduce its mystery and make a little fun of it at the same time.
This video shoot was just awesome how everything came together and we were able to film everything in one afternoon. The most amazing part of all was that the winner of the show nor the acting nor the situations that occurred in the show were scripted. The only thing the host (Juan Orevalo) had to follow was the questions. All the students played off each other really well and Cindy Reyes coming in at the last minute and shouting the answer was completely unexpected! Everything was just great.
The reason we used music from the Rocky movies was because the theme for that years FCAT was Rocky and boxing and beating the test.
Thanks to all who helped and this video is dedicated to the students of John A. Ferguson Senior High School where; "No Goal's Too High, Where Falcons Fly"
