dose this give you any perks for ROTC, or going into special, higher skilled forces, like if you join the Navy, will they look that u did JROTC and you could be bumped to navy SEALs? same as every other branch too

@XxD3ADxTR33xX no if you want to go into the navy seals you hae to go through their traning, JROTC just gives you a background, and if you go enlisted route, I know in the Marine Corp it can give you an extra boost in your promotioin

ah i remember my first day of JROTC i had a awsome 1st Srg and C.O. xD now im a 2nd Lt. but i say JROTC my look hard but once you get the basic idea you will grow to love a respect JROTC

i remember this from when i was i high school but i went to a small school and after 2 years we got shut down after that we became the equivalint of an airsoft team but that didnt last long ether . shortly after i found out about civil air patrol joined them and they got shut down too . then when i was finnaly old ennough i joined the marines .

All military branches Automatically promote recruits with at least 2 years of JROTC.

2 years in JROTC gets ranked to E-2 starting off in the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard.

3 Years gets ranked to E-3 for the 4 branches, I just listed.

As for the Marine Corps you only get a promotion to E-2 regardless, (but must have 3 years at the very least)

I've been in My school's NJROTC for 3 years, I'm a Senior

with the Rank of Cadet Lieutenant (O-3)

I've Enlisted in the US army, thanks to the 3 years, I'm starting off as a Private 1st class. E-3.

I plan on doing the Simultaneous Membership Program, to join My university AROTC to get a commission after 4 years.
