Neil Armstrong's Parents - I've Got a Secret

Astronaut Neil Armstrong's parents, Stephen Koenig Armstrong and Viola Louise Engel Armstrong have a secret that their son was just made an astronaut on this day at 3 PM, September 17, 1962. Armstrong was one of nine new men so chosen. Host Garry Moore asks an incredible question, "Now, how would you feel, Mrs. Armstrong, if it turned out - of course nobody knows - but if it turns out that your son is the first man to land on the moon? What, how do, how would you feel?" He asks this nearly seven years before it actually happens on July 20 1969! Neil's mom's reply is priceless, "Well, guess I'd just say god bless him and I wish him the best of all good luck." Neil Armstrong did not see this recording until 40 years after it originally aired.

Wow. I just realized, they're on a TV show and it's huge news all over the place for the good of mankind and the advancement of science and humanity. The only people who would ever be on this kind of show today are people who are famous for being famous or famous for slapping someone on a reality show and throwing a used tampon at them.

Garry Moore asks "How would you feel if your son is the first man to land on the moon", Mrs. Armstrong should have said, "Son, I hope you have a way of getting back." Some say NASA was prejudiced because because all the astronauts were white guys, but think of this—they were also prejudiced against tall guys. You couldn't be an astronaut if you were 6 foot tall or over even if you were a white guy. Being over 6 foot tall myself, I'm offended and have suffered a life of bitterness and resentment.

Neil was not one of the original 7; he was named in the second bunch for the Gemini program. Neil would later walk on the moon. Our moon; the one that goes around the earth.

Oh really? Is Obama? I know he's only half but still. Is Barack Obama oppressing African Americans? Or is he pissing off everbody who thinks he should be? lol Trust me.. like Clinton recently said, "arithmetic"! ! ! It's not just Afrcn Amrcns oppressing other Afrcn Amrcns.. the equation is much MUCH more challenging than that. and if you really think about it.
