I first heard this in the sound track to the movie "The Big Easy" great sound track, but this is one of the best songs on it, and a gift to all those who, like me, would never have otherwise learned of this fantastic group. Man oh man...good stuff!

While listening to a record of The Swan Silvertones Paul Simon wrote 'Bridge Over Troubled Water'. That's where he got his inspiration from. It's actually a gospel song.
Watch the documentary 'Simon & Garfunkel:The Harmony' about the creation of that legendary record in which he mentions this. So bless The Silvertones.
