  • @telebluesful Actually, Slavery was abolished in the British Empire in 1834, while it didn't occur in the United States until after the Civil War in the 1860's. Who needs to go back to school now?

  • Why are people saying ''Go back to school'' As if schools taught us these things properly?

  • @CrimsonPhantom88 lol good one

  • @CrimsonPhantom88 That's a pretty smug comparison, considering how America established slavery as a British colony. Still, the British continued many of their practices long after slavery was abolished. After WWII, the British set up a network of gulags and concentration camps for interring nearly the entire Kikuyu people of Kenya. The British tortured, raped, & killed hundreds of thousands of Kenyans after taking their land--and right after the Holocaust. The Brits have nothing to be proud of.

Slavery didn't occur till' after the Civil War? Slavery was present in 1619 within the Jamestown Colony. Might want to check facts first.
