well, it's only gay men who'd dream of giving women beauty tips; even a more skewed idea than real men doing it.
so beyond the problem of women seeming to not know how to look beautiful without being told, we've got a much deeper problem:
you know something's wrong when gay men are more natually feminine, more naturally connected to what's beautiful, than women themselves are; that's a screwed-up society.
whatever, though. i can think of worse tragedies.

Well, sometimes it's good to get the opinion of those most women are trying to impress, don't you think?

Natural makeup is always best. Theres nothing worse then having to put a whole lot of makeup on just to go put the bins out. And I think he made her look alot fresher. :)

kewl.
She has such pretty skin!
... and personally, I don't see anything wrong with men (gay or straight, who cares?!) being makeup artists & giving tips to women.
The idea that only women should be interested in makeup arts is silly and horribly sexist. If a man is interested in makeup & sharing his advice/tips, then hooray for him!
How to put on pretty makeup has nothing to do with genitalia, folks... so it doesn't matter who's holding the brush & dabbing on the lipgloss!

I don't see gay men giving beauty tips as a 'tragedy'. Honestly, some women just don't care, because they see there is something more important than dolling themselves up everyday and spending hours doing so. This artist simply gives a quick and easy way to refresh makeup, rather than reapplying it, which is a pain.
I think it's possible you're taking this too seriously and pessimistically.
BTW, not only gay men are stylists and make-up artists. You might be skewing things too much.
