  • Hi!

Yes i have contact with Mr. Eccleshall. A brand new order for exactly that piece is 3.500 BPounds (about 4.000 Euro). He's building the bass in a few months if you order one.

    Greetings!

    Bartek

  • @rask1987 yes, is exactly 3400 Britisch pounds and 6 months waiting time :-)

  • jason cant even match Lol's playing!!!!!

the cure needs a better drummer indeed. they lost A LOT when Boris decided to leave the band...

  • Yes, you're absolutely right. I wish they could go back to the roots of the "cure" sound....

  • the best bass player ever...his sound is unique and incredible

  • This is nice.

Yes, it is indeed a Schechter. For some reason, many people think that Simon Gallup plays an Eccleshall, but I have no idea why. As far as 335-style basses go, he's used:

    1) a short scale Gibson EB-2 with an extra pickup, probably EMG (see Just Like Heaven video and Play Out video)

    2) a pair of long scale basses custom made by Dick Knight, one black, one white (see Show and Trilogy concerts)

    3) a gold-top Epiphone Jack Casady (also in Trilogy)

    4) this non-production Schechter

  • It was really better when he was playing with the musicman stingray.

  • what a wimpy boring drum performance

  • I don't know if this was ever pointed out, but the bass in the video is actually a custom Schecter. They only built two of these...Blasko, of all people, has the other.

  • These actually sounds pretty good without keyboards. They should do another album like Pornography. Anything else sounds stupid without keyboards. I don't ever want to hear Porl play the keyboard parts on his guitar again. That's just a waste of his talent.

  • Nice!!! Just like the old days!!! A three piece. Sounds great!!! Nice and raw!!!

  • @shakedydogshake- Exactly! I second that.
