@Kumansa21 I'm from Germany and can not speak English so well, but I still understand the question, no you do not need a controller to play the game, plus you have a guitar as a controller.

The game with the guitar is 99 dollars gh 5 does not come with the band kit yet but gh4 comes with the band kit, without the guitar for gh5 it is 60 dollars.
