  • Five people didn't like this. How can you NOT like this?

  • @jigoku66

Agree with that comment, however I imagine that those five people just pressed by mistake the dislike button ! Or they just had some battle with wife or spouse or child or

    girl friend etc.

  • Magnifique la voix du haute contre.

    Incroyable...

  • Nice rendition! This is not an easy piece by any measure, nothing but congratulations are due here. Would be great to hear these guys in the right acoustical space.

  • Wunderbar!! Danke sehr. I always get tears in my eyes when i hear this splendid work of art sung by a good boy's choir - and these lads ARE good!! Very sweet.

  • Perfetta armonizzazione delle voci; esecuzione che fa vibrare l'anima in profondità. Coro di elevato livello artistico. Bravi!

  • @geraldrim lol

  • wtf? Im an 18 year old soprano and I cant hit that fucking high D how can he?

  • @jigoku66 No - I think that is even worse. It needs all the parts in it which this one does not have and it also needs the pure tone of boys on the top line - not to mention the two treble soloists - and the Tallis Scholars version does not have that. I think the top line on the Tallis Scholars version is very harsh. I hope my wife does not see this as she has sung the top solo in the past - but so has my youngest son, but i didn't hear that as it was in Frankfurt Cathedral.

  • @alanembo

Do you prefer the Tallis Scholars' version? (just curious of your opinion, I guess, lol).

  • @jigoku66 It's not the music - it's the way it's sung. I have heard it sung magnificently many times and this is simply not one of those times. Sorry!

  • @MrDanieliszova You do not need to be religious to be capable of knowing what is or isn't beautiful.

  • @jigoku66 i don't know. i don't know. For a couple kids that don't go flat, his is great.

  • This is a beautiful "Miserere Mei Deus". It's tenderness brought me to tears. Thank you.

  • The problem is, there are no baritones, so it's not as well rounded as the conventional version. Also, the treble (soprano) is pitchy.
