Neuhaus is far away from the brutal play of a Flier. There is a complete different world which followed after Neuhaus. We have to find back to more human play again. We have to listen to the pupils of Chopin , Liszt, Schumann and their followers; it was a complete different world, much more sensitive than the brutal competition world we are in....

He is so CUTE. (I started applauding when I saw his face.) I want him as my grandpa! Do you all realize how HARD it is to play like this? (just plain playing. Without "interpretation". Like he thought of it in the spur of the moment.)

Slower than kissin or argerich, though intriguing me so much.

Stunningly beautiful tone and highly expressive playing, as though he were composing it on the spot! I have only recently discovered this amazing pianist, thanks to the many people sharing his recordings on YouTube.

Extraordinary singing tone -- very clear, pure and beautifully focused. Artistry of this calibre transcends technological limitations.
Advanced technology is no substitute for artistry.
How lovely it would be to have the whole concerto by Neuhaus!
