Ivanka (14) im Hansa-Theater Varieté Hamburg

Once upon a time there was a young contortionist in Hamburg, who became a legend. Her name was Ivanka, born in 1972 and starting in autumn 1979 at the gym of Gerd Rasquin. Her best time were the 1980s and early 90s, when people did not know anything about the internet and browsers. So she was covered in some insider magazines and that was it. In 1987 she won the gold medal at the first european circus festival in Wiesbaden, at that time a small event. In 1990 she won bronce at "La Piste Aux Espoir" in Belgium. She ended her hobby career in December 1992 as a complete healthy acrobat, never ever injured!

Wow, she was the best:) Hard to believe she was only 14 here; she looks so mature; her grace and elegance is more than most adult contortionists!!!Wonderful. There will never be another Ivanka. Her trademark twisted backbend may be copied, but will never be equalled;)
