She hit her feet on the low bar, near the dismount... it must hurt a lot!
-
that was so good! But they shouldnt put that big mat there cus it ruined her landing! and she hit her feet on the bar at the end.. ouch
-
@benrobinson77 She didn't trip, she had an extemely sore ankle after an injury, podium training at the 2006 worlds. Therefore, her landing and major step was a concequence of her opening up to ealry to protect that ankle.

well, it's actually imposed to have the extra mat there, because of safety! and it's actually a written rule..
-
@eMthegymnast, the dismount would have happened if she didnt have that stupid extra mat. she clearly tripped and she could have used the extra few inches to rotate a bit more.. when i was competing i never understood the purposes of those extra mats. either you can do the skill or you cant. to me, a mat like that symbolizes insecurity with the skill which leads to not fully commiting to making it happen.

your mom was a judge here?

she hit ALL her handstands. the only one i see that we could argue is the one after her toe shoot, which IS within 30 degrees, which is the requirment. eat that.
she should try it would look nice!

no itwasn't.
she stopped early
she didn't hit but only 3 of handstands.
her piroette handstands weren't perfect
and the big fall wasn't so great for her either.
