@msh4k3 Hell, "old PCs" should be able to run the current version! I'd hate to see the PC that couldn't run DoomRL... *cringe*

Awesome game. :) Roguelike gameplay, Doom feel and sound, and there's music at least in the version I'm playing. Best part is if you don't have the patience or attention span at the moment to play something like ADOM, DoomRL is faster paced and easier to pay attention to. The sounds help too. Click click boom! boom! boom!

@RiotShield you can always start near the entrance by editing the configuration file

How did you start out at the right side of the Phobos base entrance? Every time I play it starts me out on the left side of the room, meaning half the time I start a game the zombies get to the two healhkits before I can even open the door.
