  • Good advice as far as starting the pad on bone opposed to the tendon area. But to further improve on that advice, I would start on the inside back end of the cannon and work around. This way, if the padding became tighten for any reason whatsoever, the worst pressure will be around the whole front end of the cannon, instead of the back end of the tendon(which would be the case where you started).

The same should be done with the bandage with the initial wrapping around the whole of the cannon.

  • @lermamedrano Not if I beat you to it. lol

  • Sheez! I really need to make a video on how to wrap the correct way. Stay tuned...

  • @LadyVproductions1 Just to answer your question, you shouldn't ride in them, you can use SMB neoprene boots, polo wraps, tendon boots, bell boots etc for riding. These are usually for recovering a horse from a injury, or using them with a liniment to keep the horses tendons strong and tight. :)

  • @LadyVproductions1 im pretty sure you cant because it will restrict the joints and it would be too sweaty for them. They are just for during the night in the stall. ;)

  • Can you ride with standing wraps on?
