  • Good sound quality, great song. This is from the Beach Boys, Strawberry Alarm Clock and Buffalo Springfield tour of the South in early 1968. the same groups also toured together in late 1967.

  • MLK Jr was shot and killed on my 18th birthday in April 1968; a few months later RFK Jr was assasinated and the year ended with the DNC in Mayor Dailey's Chicago. My hippie life had just begun. In 1969 I was in the group of people at UMASS, Amherst who booed poor HHH off the stage the only time in his life that he didn't finish a political speech. 42 years later my hair isn't near as long, my idea's aren't quite as radical and the peace marches on Washington DC are over, yet I remain a Hippie!

  • @kbgloves The year ended in August?

  • @wrrntl That is a matter of opinion. I think Stills and Furay and then Young.

  • @karmices Clearly a Neil Young song, the best member of this band. Way better version on Archives #1.

  • I love this song so much.....it's great to hear a live version....thanks!

  • I sort of felt Clancy was a very good song but never feel in love as I felt it was a little too smooth and sleek and needed some sponge in the bells but now I hear this raw distorted version and it's love at second sight and sound. I'm so choked up I can't even tell ya.

  • @PorroFirst You "fucking suck".

  • this is towards the end of the band's run, you can hear it. Still great stuff though, anything by them is good ;)

  • neil wrote this one......

  • @PorroFirst I wouldn't say "For What It's Worth" sucks. Yes I love this song(Clancy) just a little bit more but Stephen is still a helluva songwriter.
