Check her out from an aerial perspective - her gimballing thrusters, unlike any previous airship, allow her to hover like a helicopter - see it here!

  • As a matter of a fact, it has no interior structure to hold gas cells, so it is in fact a blimp and not a rigid airship or zeppelin.

  • Cool. Now if they'd just make one three or four times as long. The zeppelins of the 1930s were wonderful, but they needed to be just a little bit bigger.

With light materials and better fuel efficiency, a modern airship can probably get away with being the same size as the larger ones in the 1930s.

What I'm saying here is not to take anything away from Eureka. I love that it's flying. I'm just looking to the future.

  • Wonderful will ever grow up to build skyscrapers, powerline and do maintenance work on bridges?Just curious :D
