I'm not the she if the average Twitter user. Audi had about 50k followers when they gave me the car for the weekend. I want selected as part of the contest that came out of my #wantanr8 weekend. The 100k hashtag tweets were based on when this video launched and not the overall contest campaign. Twitter lists this as the most successful campaign ever.

Its because people in US doesn't know how to drive a manual car. More than 95% of the cars are either SMG or fully automatic, and the sad thing is even with an automatic trans, people still don't know how to drive....LOL !!

in germany its totally usual that you shift. no one would drive this car with automatic lol...

'Let's get someone who's the same age as the average Twitter user, and who uses Twitter a lot, so they can constantly drone on about how they got a 24 hour test drive in an Audi.' They can't actually choose people at random. They will hand pick someone who isn't old or ugly, or who may have a criminal record - including DUI. That would backfire on Audi incredibly. Also seems pretty lame that, with well over 300,000 followers, @Audi only managed to get 100,000 tweeting its yawnworthy hashtag.
