Stupid religious nuts. Slowing down scientific progress that could've save many lives. But no, it's so inhumane. I would like to point out their hypocrisy when they say doctors who do abortion must die. It's OK for a fully grown human to die but not an embryo that hasn't even grown a single organ yet?

I wish I was american so I could go out and vote for obama i think he is making the states a better place to live.

@captainscorpo Religious people are retarded and that's why they are against it. Government wants retarded votes because they form majority and that's why they are against it. In meanwhile millions of people are still dying because of religion... Like in crusades, inquisitions and witchhunts... I thought this was 21st century.

@fishontuesday it's human, but not a human being which is all that matters. i think republicans are against abortion because their brains have no more then 12 brain cells so they want to save anything with as many.

u know what? I just realized discussing this with you is hopeless. First you compare embryos to Jews in camps, now to black people. It seems to completely fly over your head that those examples, regardless of what was THOUGHT, were PEOPLE, with feelings, memories, ideas, families, friends, thoughts and speech, or at the very least a sense of pain, heat, cold, comfort, fatigue, and love. I've given up trying to underline these differences for you so I leave you to your world of crazy parallels.
-
reprehensible because they thought blacks weren't human, or because they didn't care, being comfortable in their position?
-
u know what? in the 18th or 19th century many people (especially the powerful ones) didn't think of black people as human beings. maybe some of them were not sure if they were human or not, and they didn't care, but they preferred stating they were not so slavery was supported. other people really thought they were just animals, and cared more about butterflies than of slavery's abolition. it seems unlikely nowadays, but in the 16th century it was reality. do u think they behaviour was less
-
A lot of people don't think of those embryos as human beings. That's were the heart of the argument lies, isn't it? If I thought of a single cell as more than just a cell that doesn't have consciousness and doesn't feel pain maybe I would have joined your camp. But to me a butterfly that fights for its survival and feels agony when killed deserves more attention than these cells.

i mean they have no difference in their DIGNITY as human beings, with its consecuent right to live. the difference is that the jews have lived enough to have people who RESPECTS and CARES FOR THEIR LIFE, people who can pressure authorities, organisms, etc to make that right be respected. all human beings, no matter how grown-up or how many cells they have, have a dignity that everybody gots to respect, but in the case of the embryos nobody is caring for it.
a brainless sac filled with 12 cells is not a human! It is no more important than a plant! if u have ever burned urself or gotten hurt EVER!!!! U have killed many many cells wich according to crazy fundies are people? wtf?!

Yeah because government mandates have been holding it down. There is technology called protein robotics, it's a nanotechnology that regenerates cells. Which means if you have cancer you could get injected with good cells and get rid of the cancer, in a brief description. but, the government won't let any further research. So, yes there COULD be cures from stem cells but religion and government. the dumb shits they are say it's inhumane.
