So was all that graphic BS really necessary? I don't understand the wakeup bit. The bird flu stopped w/o you raising a finger. As far I can tell you're just scaring people into not taking the REAL vaccine, creating a population of disease carriers, who in addition to getting infected themselves will spread it, in some cases even to those people who DID get vaccinated.

I think what we have here is a failure to communicate: vaccines are not a cure all. With a sufficent number of innoculated peoples, you can prevent an outbreak of the disease in question. When you have a number of unvaccinated carriers (as you propose to create by leaving large portions of the populace unvaccinated,), even the bolstered systems of the vaccinated can be overwhelmed. It's like putting up sandbags around your house during a flood while your neighbors are digging ditches around you.

You're right about this bit, but run this by me again the scientists extract DNA from every virus they shove in the vaccine? You think they'd ever get enough usable virus that way? I'm calling BS.

no, the viruses are heat treated in some cases inorder to degrade and denature the DNA making the virus unable to replicate. all your immune system needs to build immunity against a virus is the antigens on the viral membrane, no functioning DNA is required. so before you go about "calling BS" learn some science.

I got all my shots up to date... About 3 to 4 years ago including HPV shot (Which my mom regrets getting me completely) But this worries me because I don't want to die from a horrible death. I haven't got ANY flu shots for about a year and a half now and you can count on me that I am not getting that death in a needle H1N1 vaccine or any other vaccines they put out in the market.
