The Ride Smart "Advanced Rider Course" (ARC) is designed to provide helpful information about the do's and don'ts of riding at an advanced level. The course material has been created and organized by long time Ride Smart instructors Brandt Dillon and Thomas Delaney. Brandt utilizes effective and exciting teaching techniques during the classroom and on the track. The ARC uses both the theories and the techniques of riding in control at an advance level.
Topics include: line, body position, turn sets, passing (how, when, where), braking, traffic, bumps, runoff, shifting, fitness, visualization skills, analyzing opponents, strategy, tactics, etc.
The course includes a very practical power point presentation (with google earth pictures of each track - created by Thomas Delaney}.
Each ARC class uses a power point specific to each of the four Texas tracks: MSR Cresson, MSR Houston, Texas World Speedway and Eagles Canyon Raceway.
Each student will be followed and videoed and the bike cam footage of each student will be critiqued in class Brandt. All student footage will be recorded on DVD and sent to the student within 1 week of the event.
