Here is Roxbury High School's performance of 3 City Blocks at the USSBA Northern States Competition on Nov. 1, 2008 which gave them a score of 97.0 and a 2nd place finish. They also received Best Music, Best Effect, and Best Percussion. They also received the honor of winning the U.S. Marines Esprit de Corps award.

ok thanks for ding this show justice unlike evans hihg school my only thing was you took the low brass out of the second movement
but i like the timphani in the third and the last dynamic part
and nice speedo n the fourth but again no low brass why destroy the tubas biggest part :(

this piece is by frank sullivan. it was originally called "rhythyms of a city," but we changed the name for our show... i don't know why though.

i am in the jackson memorial high school marching band, and we watched you guys from the stands. let me tell you, i think it was the best show of the night. you guys were so full of energy and it looked like you were having a blast. loved the show : )
