Here is Roxbury High School's performance of 3 City Blocks at the USSBA Northern States Competition on Nov. 1, 2008 which gave them a score of 97.0 and a 2nd place finish. They also received Best Music, Best Effect, and Best Percussion. They also received the honor of winning the U.S. Marines Esprit de Corps award.

  • ok thanks for ding this show justice unlike evans hihg school my only thing was you took the low brass out of the second movement

    but i like the timphani in the third and the last dynamic part

    and nice speedo n the fourth but again no low brass why destroy the tubas biggest part :(

  • this piece is by frank sullivan. it was originally called "rhythyms of a city," but we changed the name for our show... i don't know why though.

  • i am in the jackson memorial high school marching band, and we watched you guys from the stands. let me tell you, i think it was the best show of the night. you guys were so full of energy and it looked like you were having a blast. loved the show : )
