@JancarloVega Entiendo tu punto pero el himno de Puerto Rico tiene que ir acompañado del himno de EUA en cualquier actividad oficial del gobierno de la colonia porque eso es lo que somos, colonia de EUA. y las tropas de EUA entraron o invadieron la isla en el 1898 en la guerra hispanoamericana no en el 1891 como escribistes.

@MrES91 the anthem stems from the independence movement. By Eurocentric standards a country is defined by a government, therefore puerto rico's government is an extension of US political intervention, and is not a independent party. Yet, the people and cultures that make up the body of Puerto Rico are separate, and can be denied as a country by global ethno/cultural standards. Also the anthem pre dates the arrival of US troops to that took the Island in 1891.
