ah.. took a Real Sociedad keeper error to point me here. As a newcastle fan i might be abit biased but Given to me is one of the EPL best keepers. Extremely consistent. He might be poor in claiming crosses and lacking command in the box prob because of his small stature. But he make it up with his excellent shot stopping skills and with a positioning sense and reflex 2nd to non.

gotta admire the effort he puts in, one of the best goalkeepers to ever walk on the pitch in my opinion. he's way underrated, he should be up there with casillas and cech. thumbs up if you agree.

@Fawkon Hey Fawkon....a fan from overseas wants to tell you you have no class whatsoever. You disrespect first of all yourself with your comments, but above all Shay Given - one of the best keepers in history. He spent 12 years with world class Newcastle United and he deserves your respect, no matter your team loyalty.
