Wanda and Bill Soltis, a 1955 graduate of Texas A&M, gifted the university a 40-acre facility in Costa Rica and offered a long-term lease on the adjacent 250 acres of rain forest. Soltis' vision was to provide Texas A&M Students with international experiences, protect the area's unique ecological setting and increase awareness that ultimately will protect the rain forest. Also featured is the TAMU Engineers Without Borders (EWB) group.
