@whatuswattingat I was just looking over all the comments I've written, and just realized the comment I made about Amy Winehouse, who died a few weeks ago. I was in absolute shock that what I said actually happened. She died at such a young age, and the circumstances are tragic (Since they're still doing the autopsy, I'm not gonna say drugs did it). What really broke my heart was her father, especially when he gave up all her clothes to her fans that were holding vigil outside her apartment. RIP

Amazing to think what music is now compared to what it was. No one cared if you used their song, as long as you made it your own. Now it's all about royalties and copyright infringement.

@kristariggle24 The important thing is that this is an era that has inspired people to really REALLY appreciate music. This brought out some of the best musicians around that has influenced countless generations. Their influence will never fade.
