Cellist Zoë Keating uses a cello and a small box of electronics to create a one-woman avant-garde orchestra. A former member of the cello-rock trio Rasputina, Keating has played live on radio and television, in the Nevada desert, in medieval churches, punk clubs, and in venues across North America and Europe.

  • wow, a violoncellist with a fire coloured dreads! never seen that before, unbelievable. :) and she really does have a power! she reminds me of imogen heap. she performs her music similar way, but she does it with her voice. check out Just For Now, but maybe its only my point of view...

  • Does anyone happen to know which piece she is playing? I thought it was "Optimist", but now I'm not sure.
