Their is more than one bill, the Senate version and the House of Representatives Bill.I suggest folks down load the Bills and read them. The house bill says all citizens legal or otherwise will be required to enroll in the health care plan.

The Senator is right, there is nothing in the plan to give "credits" or money to provide health insurance to undocumented aliens. he is also right on the way and restrictions around the "Public Option" and Exchange.

There is the final House bill, HB3200 (Find it in thomas [dot] loc [dot] gov); the version from the Senate HELP committee; and the one being crafted in the Senate finance committee. All Americans will be required to have health insurance, like all Californians must have auto insurance; and there will be subsidies on a sliding scale, based on income. But as Rep. Schiff said, there are no benefits or subsidies for illegal immigrants. What section of the House bill are you looking at?
