to shay young samurai but sayin he sucked is a matter opinion as well,was he not great,even if he did lose matches,(which i doubt it cuz death matches usally ended in death)gennosuke was graet inded but im looking at matches won not lost,now show me a samurai that won more duels than musashi, btw my first comment was pretty damn funny lmfao!

What you don't understand is, despite what most people believe. Most matches back then were simply duels to whoever gave in, or whoever couldn't fight first, not always death. That's a popular misconception. Hence why Musashi used wooden weapons over steel. Because more often than naught, he would be using a wooden weapon rather than a real one. Musashi was a good fighter. He was a sucky Samurai. Samurai are all about honor. Musashi wasn't. He just did whatever to win.

Actually it's more commonly thought that Musashi actually DID lose a few matches these days. Historians don't believe it possible, statistically that he beat everyone as claimed. Specifically Musou Gennosuke. Seriously, do some research. There are records showing Musashi's defeat. Just because he doesn't mention it doesn't mean it never happened. Gorin No Sho is a good book, don't get me wrong. But saying Musashi was the best is a matter of opinion.

Do you even know what the hell you're talking about? Why don't you take the time to study before blabbing on about historical figures. I'm glad you can read Wiki. Musashi was pretty crazy. He had skills, no one is going to deny that. But saying he was the greatest Samurai ever is a bit much. He didn't fight as a Samurai does. He used anything to his advantage. While smart, this isn't how a Samurai fights. His goal was to win, not to be honorable. Again, not very Samurai-like.

Musashi to me is the best samurai ever altho it is opinion, And sure he did some things to win that were less than honorable but the fact being is he was with out a doubt a strategic mastermind and created and perfected a 2 blade style. and come on he beat the yoshioka brothers than a assassination attempt that wus issued to him as a challenge and he didnt refuse bcuz that wuld hurt his honor. but he still went came out on taop if that dosent say worlds best then idk wut does.

I agree with you. and as far as miyamoto is concerned, he wrote the book of five rings.. what else is there to be said.

In the game, he's very fast and deals good damage and if you know what you're doing,,, you can even beat tadakatsu honda's ass
