Swan Song Review

My second review of Swan Song by Robert McCammon, an author from Mobile, Alabama. While not as well known as King or Koontz, McCammon appears to be the kind of guy that takes a year or two to write a book that will really knock your socks off, judging from the stellar ratings of his books on GoodReads.com and Amazon.

Stinger > Under the Dome

and King's my favorite writer, just to let you know.

@miguedro I'm torn on this book and The Stand. Swan Song had great action, but The Stand had better characterization and the world was better drawn.

I don't know much about Stinger though. I thought it was about an alien mercenary and was more like Predator.

@Savior20061 The description of the nuclear hit, at the beginning, from the three different perspectives, is very well done. So sudden, and then the whole world is totally transformed. Loved this book.
