New Zealand Police - Cop gives vulnerable road user dangerous clearance DTF26

Cop gives less than a third of the minimum clearance recommended in the road code, as you can see, low traffic and a few seconds later the opportunity to pass safely, who gave this Muppet a car?
For any Police looking at this, feel free to measure the road, to verify clearance given, the incident happened just before Titirangi shops on Titirangi Road, heading in the direction of Huia Road. If you are the Cop behind the wheel have a slow read of the Road Code, and see if you can work out where you went wrong.

@ultrapulse2000 No way, I do not believe you, no..... are you really that stupid? Look at “Passing Cyclists” by carboundcyclist it really is very easy to give 1.5 meters clearance and that is without "special" West Auckland Police training :-)
