  • Yeah, exactly and excellent example. I wish the studio would consider getting the clearances and then putting out a limited edition release, have people pre-order or something so they'd be guaranteed to get their money back . . . but everything has to make gazillions of dollars nowadays in Hollywood, otherwise forget it. A shame, this is one of the best series ever made. The atmosphere of the era is perfect with great writing, great acting, great direction.

  • I miss this show!

  • Love It.

  • Would love to add this television series to my DVD collection.

  • looks cool but dont copy or top mash by a longshot

  • 00:39 to00:44 perfect scene shots for her character and the theme." Reflections" by Diana Ross and The Supremes. Just watching and listening to the opening credits you knew it was going to be a good show.

  • do you have the episode with Nancy Sinatra?

  • Hell yes.

  • Dana ♥ ♥

  • oh god how i loved watching china beach, i was kid when it aired in my country, never missed one episode. And Dodger, man, i had a huge crush on him...lol

  • I know exactly which episode you're talking about and it's my favorite too. Dana Delaney actually narrated a documentary about Vietnam and the nurses who served there. It's excellent and I highly recommend it. If I'm not mistaken, that episode of China Beach was the inspiration for the project.

  • absolutely brilliant series which I remember watching in the early 1990's. Even though I was a kid during the Vietnam War era of the 1960's-1970's, I shed a few tears.

Wish they would release it on DVD.

Visited the 'real' China Beach (near Danang) in 2005.
