I am silently laughing at how the AI are so useless, they must be told to use their attacks... I can understand telling a mage to use first aid or whatever since healers in Tales tend to be crap (coughcoughMINTANNIEESTELLEcou
ghcough), but when you have to tell a swordsman to use an attack... ToD PSX is best played by four people~

my question is why do people have problem with his english name Karyl. is everyone just used to calling him Johnny or something? I don't have a problem with it I'm just curious.

Because it isnt his name, at all.
His name is Johnny in japanese release and Karyl is just a horrible localization.
Plus "Johnny" is written on super big letters on his piano, even in english release.
Karyl is just a unaccuarate localization (I mean, Raine and Genis are "similar", but this is too horrible)
