@trigga1uk Ya, I actually tend to sway more right-wing myself (not on all the religious stuff though), but I ended up voting for Obama because no way could I vote for a 70 something yr old with health problems that had a dimwit like Palin as a VP! The chances of ending up with that moron for president was too high. I think he just wanted to show his support for the Repub party in general, rather than palin.

Ah yes. The old "slippery slope" mistake in logic. An oldy but a goody. Someone who is a moose hunting beauty queen must be a good vice presidential because THAT's what the founding father's meant by citizen government... high school drop outs are citizens, rapists are citizens, drug addicts are citizens... Ohhhh, so I guess citizenship is NOT the only criteria we should look for in a candidate... ohhhhhhhhhhhh... maybe intelligence, integrity and worldly knowledge and experience too...hmmmmm

In all fairness to the great Mark Steyn, when he made these remarks it was probably before Palin gave the interviews in which she revealed herself as God's gift to the dumb, ignorant shallow morons of the world. Today, I can't believe that brilliant Steyn still supports that outrageously stupid empty brained swimsuit Palin aka Miss South Carolina.
