I'm going down to Galveston,
i'm gonna have myself a time.
Cruise down the seawall,
Soaking up all the sights.
32 miles of beaches,
And theres always plenty of sunshine.
When i get down to Galveston,
I'll take a stroll on down the Strand.
From 25 to 20th St,
Then I'll stroll on back again.
From Postoffice catch a street car,
Take me back to the beach again.
When I get down to Galveston,
I'm gonna get myself a room.
Call the front desk, order room service
Take a dip down at the pool.
When your down in Galveston,
Theres alway something for you to do.
When i get to Galveston,
I'll take a stoll down the Strand
Get some lunch, do some shopping
Have a drink and catch a band.
From Postoffice catch a street car,
Take me back to the beach again
