How effective is using a homemade steadycam system as opposed going handheld with your video camera? That's what this video shows you.
Homemade steadycams like mine are of course not completely steady when running/walking, but they still do make your camera a lot less shaky when moving. When standing still, but not using a tripod, a steadycam is invaluable and will help avoid giving your viewers seasickness.

  • Much better. This is one of the more difficult things we needed to do before we filmed "The End". Did you use the Indy Mongul tutorial?

  • I am nearly done with a tutorial for making the steadycam design I used. Though it is based on some other ones, the exact process I used hasn't been done as far as I know.
