I am uploading this item as a curiosity! It comes from book of anonymous piano transcriptions of standards: "The Best in Broadway Standards: Piano Solos" - published by Warner Bros. in 1991, and found by me recently in a charity shop. Unlike many such books these pieces are not mere reductions of the published piano/vocal arrangements, but independent arrangements without chord symbols. To me many of the arrangements in the book (probably by more than one arranger) are interesting, but bizarre in their sometimes crude piano writing. This piece (a 1987 copyright arrangement) has the tempo progression: lazily - with a little more energy - steady show 2 (what does that mean?) - with a lot of energy - lazily (last two bars).

I see what you mean about the tempo progression. I would move it along in quick time : I went over to the Pleyel and it seemed natural to play as a Foxtrot ; notwithstanding you made a beautiful job out of this Cole Porter standard

Thanks for that. This is a very unusual arrangement, and if I were doing my own cover of the song, I would do it quite differently!
