Marissa died because Misha was given much trouble for the intire cast e crew so then "kill her" on the show.That´s was the real reason.

well it could of been any one of the cast members its noit cause they had issues with *mischa* it was because josh wanted to change the show because he was sick of the same thing over and over again the only time mischa gave them a hard time was when they wanted her to comeback because of the pitition the fans signed but she wanted more money there was no promblem with the cast

Marissa was my favorite character and the most humane of the entire series. I cried a lot when she died and think the oc ended when she died but it is still the best show ever! I miss so much. And of course Ryan and Marissa forever. Get out Taylor!
