Why did the Army bother buying another helicopter? The Blackhawk can do it all.

Those are not fuel pods hung on the inboard pylons of the external stores system. They are a combination weapon system containing a 30mm cannon and five 3.5 in rockets. Anyone who still refers to the Blackhawk as a lawn dart is an idiot. The flaw In the stabilator system was found and fixed a long time ago. I challenge anyone to name any military aircraft that didnt have unforeseen design flaws when it first came into service. Remember the Marines that died while they were testing the Osprey?
