A sundog (scientific name: parhelion) is an atmospheric phenomenon that creates bright spots of light in the sky, often on a luminous ring or halo on either side of the sun.
They may appear as a colored patch of light to the left or right of the sun, 22° distant and at the same distance above the horizon as the sun.
They can be seen anywhere in the world during any season, but they are not always obvious or bright. Sundogs are best seen and are most conspicuous when the sun is low.

@IntoWisOutdoors Thank you!! Y'know, I had forgotten I had even taken this video a couple of weeks ago on my last trip out east. As I was taking it, I just assumed it wasn't going to come out at all, but I was pleasantly surprised that the little spectrums I saw came across on video....then I needed to do some research to see what they were actually called, so I didn't post a "mystery in the sky" video LOL!

Another excellent video you've made! I never knew of the info about them, But I have seen them. I think the neatest one that I've seen in my lifetime was back in 1984, With the setting sun, They were orange in color & quite long!
PS: I've finally gotten my PC back up & running again! Glad to see that you've been busy! *grin*
