Israel fires rockets into south Lebanon

Reports from Israel reveal a serious incident as Israel fired on the main road leading to south Lebanon villages on Tuesday morning resulting in no injuries yet meaning a new violation of UN Security Council resolution on the Israeli part. UNIFIL spokesperson in Lebanon said that immediate action was taken by peacekeeping forces who initiated contacts with both the Israeli and the Lebanese side. While an investigation team was assigned to investigate the incident. The UN resolution which was breached came in 2006 to end a 34 day war between Lebanese group Hezbollah and Israel.
