Released on the 1963 album, "Greatest Hits Of The Golden Groups". Kind of a strange album for this song to be included on since it was a '50's hit for Bobby Helms, not a group. The Vogues evenually had a hit with a remake but that wasn't until years after this album was recorded. So, I guess you could say this album predicted that a group would have a hit with the song years before they did! Bobby re-recorded this song in the '80's and that version seems easier to find than this one.

  • this is a song dedicated from my grandma and me to our baby boys that we both so tragically lost to a dreadful condition known A as cot- death, both were boys, so to billy & brett...... always our angels xxxxx

  • This is why old people (like me) prefer old music. It brings back memories

    of happy times.

I have found some good new songs on Youtube though. I like You Raise

Me Up, The Rose, Sitting on the Front Porch Swing, Isle of Hope. I guess

some young people might consider these old too.

    Thanks for posting.

  • My grandfather played this song when he danced with my mother at her wedding....he passed in December, 3 minutes after her birthday due to brain cancer.

  • When I was 10 years old my older sister and I played this song in a piano recital. I played and sang back up to her. We won an award for it and ever since then have been a lover of this particular song although the music from this era was always a staple in my home something I am forever grateful to my father for. I’m only 26 but even for me it brings back fond memories of my childhood. So pure and nice I wish I could have lived back then!!!!

  • Lovley song :)

  • A great version of the song, but Bobby Helms was the first to bring it to us.
