There is a difference between "The Looking Glass Wars" and "The Looking Glass War". "The Looking Glass War" is unrelated to any kind of Alice in Wonderland mythology, and predates the books which many people here seem to have read.
I haven't seen this film, but it is one of the few containing the delicious young Christopher Jones. James Dean my ass. He had a beauty all his own.
