Nyaka AIDS Orphan School
It is a day school providing free education, a loving and supportive environment, and one meal each day. This is usually the only proper meal the children eat.

Nyaka has no electricity, no gas heating, and no indoor plumbing, but it is trying to save lives... one child at a time.

  • Thanks to all those who have viewed the film clip and taken the time to post positive comments.

  • Rotary does so much and most ppl don't even know who we are. However, as long as the ones who need help know, that's all that is important.

  • Thankyou, notiqueen for pointing out that those who receive are the ones for whom all is done

  • It will take money to help change the lives of these youths and I plan to help

  • Even if you find change in the chair cushion or a crumpled dollar bill in your pocket, this will help. One dollar US will feed 3 kids for 2 weeks. Thank you bridges174 and so many others for comments!!

  • Best of luck with the documentary, great project.

  • Thank you alanski2005 and others for you best wishes and positive comments!!

IT IS AWESOME to see so many of you with great things to say.

  • I found that video very sad.

In America, we have so much and they have so little. If everyone had it in their hearts to send at leat one dollar to help the funds in African countries or elsewhere, that is all that has to be done.Besides, reasearch, that is the best we can give to them.

One person every ten seconds. That will get worse if no one helps.

  • this kind of organization is very close to my heart.

i am only 17, and there's not much i can do from the united states.(if there IS anything i can do, though, email me at plinkhugstrees @ hotmail . com)

i once worked at a shelter a lot like this one in belohorizonte, brazil.

i fell in love with those children, and i think about them everyday.

it was so awesome how everything the workers did focused around the lives of these children.

god bless all of the work that you do.
