@MeadowHidden Well Jesus didn't die years before Christianity started. He started Christianity when he was here on Earth. He is the Son of God in the sense that he was a human manifestation of God. Sorry if this doesn't really answer your question but I'm not really sure what you mean.

Jesus was Jewish and died years before christianity started. Please explain how he is the "Son of God". Im not mocking, nor critizizing. I had asked my friends and they told me that I was going to hell and how they would kill me if god told them too. I am aware that in the Bible it does state that Jesus was Jewish. I am simply in need of an explanation:)
